Safety & Candle Care
Before Burning
- Always place your candle on a flat, stable, non-flammable surface.
- Keep away from drafts, children, pets, water, and anything that can catch fire.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
During Use
- Allow the wax to melt fully across the top surface, especially during the first burn. A full melt pool ensures maximum fragrance release.
- Do not burn your candle for more than four hours at a time.
- To prevent tunneling, burn the candle long enough each time so the entire top layer of wax melts. Burn time will vary based on candle size.
Wick Care
- Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times.
- Use a wick trimmer to prevent debris from falling into the wax (we include one with some purchases).
- Do not touch hot wax or the hot container.
Extinguishing Your Candle
- Do not blow out the flame. Instead, gently snuff it using a candle snuffer or metal spoon.
- Blowing out the candle can spread ash into the wax and cause smoke.
- Keep the candle covered when not in use to prevent dust and debris buildup.
- Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
When to Discard
- Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains or if the container becomes damaged.
- Do not reuse the container for refilling or burning candles.
Candle Storage
- Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or intense light.
- A box or cabinet is ideal to prevent fading or discoloration.
- Candles should be stored between 50°F and 85°F.
- Avoid leaving candles in cars, especially in hot weather, as they may melt or discolor.
- Extreme cold may cause cracking or separation. If exposed to cold temperatures, allow the candle to return to room temperature for at least 4 hours before burning.
